Oleksandr O. Stadnichenko (Kryvbas)

20-year-old fighter Oleksandr Stadnichenko (call sign Kryvbas) was killed on November 2, 2023 in the area of the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he received fatal injuries as a result of a hit by an anti-tank guided missile. Oleksandr was born in the village of Ordo-Vasylivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied to be an electric and gas welder at the Kryvyi Rih Vocational School. He worked at a factory in Kryvyi Rih. During the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". "Our Sashunya was always positive, helped his relatives, supported his comrades-in-arms, never turned away when asked for help. Even on that fateful day of his death, Sasha sat in the car in his comrade's place, thereby saving his life," said the fighter's girlfriend Diana. The hero was buried in his native village. Oleksandr is survived by his parents, brother, three sisters, girlfriend, and other relatives and friends.
