Oleksandr O. Teslenko

Military serviceman Oleksandr Teslenko was killed on March 24, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the town of Mar'inka in Donetsk region. Oleksandr was born and lived his entire life in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. For many years, he saved people, working in the ranks of the State Emergency Service. At the time of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was serving under contract, so as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he went to defend his native Donetsk region. "He believed that the most important thing was to protect and save people in his native Ukraine. Therefore, when the enemy began to attack the borders of the state, Oleksandr was one of the first to stand up for his Homeland. Friends from all over the world remember him as a brave and decent person, with a big heart and strong character. This is a loss for the whole nation... The pride of his mother and father, the best brother and loyal friend. This is him, this is about him! No tear of parents and relatives is wasted for him!" wrote volunteer Oleksiy Yukov. "A kind and good person! There are so few of them! Thank you for your life. Eternal memory," wrote acquaintance of the defender Maria. The defender was buried in his native Kramatorsk. Oleksandr left behind his parents and daughter.
