- Bulaivskyi Oleksandr Petrovych was born on April 29, 1971, in the town of Orativ, Vinnytsia region. In 1994, he graduated from the Military Transport Institute of Railway Troops and Military Communications. On February 27, 2022, Oleksandr Bulaivskyi joined the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine upon mobilization and was appointed as the head of the commandant's department of the rapid response border command of the 24th border detachment. Oleksandr approached his duties responsibly, demonstrating a high level of professionalism. Since January 13, 2023, the border guard, along with his comrades, was carrying out combat missions in the Donetsk region as part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. On January 31, 2023, Oleksandr Bulaivskyi was in the area of the city of Bakhmut. That morning, a personnel change was taking place at the positions of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, where, since January 27, 2023, servicemen from the combined detachment "Chernihiv" of the rapid response border command of the 24th border detachment had been on combat duty. As a result of a guided anti-tank missile hitting the vehicle in which Captain Oleksandr Bulaivskyi was, the car was completely burned, and Oleksandr was killed. For personal courage and selfless actions displayed in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and fidelity to the military oath, Captain Oleksandr Petrovych Bulaivskyi was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the third degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
