Oleksandr P. Didenko (Lys)

Paratrooper Oleksandr Didenko (call sign Fox) was killed on April 4, 2022 in a battle near the village of Dovhenke in the Kharkiv region. The defender's life was cut short by enemy tank fire. He would have turned 35 years old on April 24. Oleksandr was from the city of Fastiv in the Kyiv region. He lived with his family in the city of Vyshneve. He received a secondary education. He tried himself in various fields of activity. His last job was a family business, where he tried to develop as a private entrepreneur. On February 24, 2022, the man went to war to protect his country and his loved ones from the Russian invaders. He joined the ranks of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. "Sasha was a good father, the best husband, a sensitive and kind person. He loved life very much, tried to be useful to others. The man was an example for many. It's painful that his life ended so early! He will forever remain in our hearts," said the fighter's wife, Olena. He was buried in the village of Chervone in the Kyiv region. His parents, sisters, wife, son and daughter did not wait for their hero. Posthumously, soldier Oleksandr Didenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
