Oleksandr P. Lysenko (Tykhyi)

Soldier Oleksandr Lysenko (call sign Tykhy) was killed on August 3, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Siversk in the Donetsk region. The defender was 39 years old. Oleksandr was from Kyiv. After school, he obtained the profession of a car mechanic at a vocational school. He worked as the head of the security group at the "ECO-market". In his free time, he loved to go fishing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate Airborne Assault Sich Brigade. He was a machine gunner in the rifle platoon. "My husband was honest and fair to everyone around him. He helped everyone as much as he could. He loved animals. He was very brave, afraid of nothing and no one," said the wife of the fallen Olha. The warrior was buried at the Forest Cemetery in his native Kyiv. He left behind a wife and a son. Posthumously, Soldier Oleksandr Lysenko was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine".
