Oleksandr P. Mykhailovskyi

Alexander Pavlovych Mykhailovsky was born on October 9, 1987, in the city of Haisyn, Vinnytsia Oblast. He resided in the village of Zaboyky, Ternopil District, Ternopil Oblast. In 2014, he was called up for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a mechanic-driver of a BMP-2. He participated in the battles for the city of Debaltseve. During the defense of height 307.5, he destroyed two enemy tanks with an RPG-7. After the battle on January 25, 2015, he evacuated the severely wounded on the damaged BMP. In 2017, he signed a new contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on March 14, 2022, near the city of Zolote, Luhansk Oblast. He was buried on April 2, 2022, at the local cemetery in the village of Zaboyky, Ternopil District.
