Oleksandr P. Zborovskyi (Liutyi)

Soldier Oleksandr Zborovskyi (call sign Liutyi) was killed on February 27, 2024, near the village of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. During the performance of a combat mission, he received fatal injuries as a result of enemy mortar shelling. The defender was 29 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Pobiiyna, Cherkasy region. After finishing the 9th grade of school, he immediately went to work, as he needed to help his parents. He worked in various fields, including farming and construction. He loved to repair equipment and was very knowledgeable about it. During the full-scale war, in October 2023, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman in the 32nd separate mechanized brigade. In January 2024, Oleksandr's family received a notification that he was missing. Then he was wounded after his first combat mission and was subsequently treated in the hospital. On February 27, the second notification came, but this time it was his last combat mission. In April, the relatives confirmed the fighter's death. "It is unspeakably painful that Sasha is no longer with us. He was kind, sincere, and there was always something to talk about with him, he always supported us. He was making plans for life after the end of the war, but, unfortunately, it was not meant to be... I remember. And I grieve infinitely," wrote the deceased's niece Yulia. Oleksandr was buried in his native village. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, a sister, nephews, and nieces.
