- 24-year-old National Guard soldier Oleksandr Bilyi (call sign Hardyn) was killed on March 28, 2024 in battle on the territory of the Serebryanske forestry, near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. The defender's life was cut short by an enemy mortar attack. Oleksandr was from the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Coke and Chemical Technical School with a specialty in "Installation and maintenance of refrigeration and compressor machines and installations". He worked as a sales consultant for building materials in the Epicenter hypermarket. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine and went to the front. He fought as part of the 13th Operational Purpose Brigade "Khartiya". He was a combat medic. "We met before the war, got married in 2022, wanted children, but unfortunately it didn't happen. He was the best and kindest, dreamed of a big family, a home. He went to the front on the first day of the full-scale war, first was in Kryvyi Rih, then took medical courses, became a combat medic, fought in the Kherson region, took part in the liberation of the village of Dudchany and many other settlements. Later he underwent training in Germany and ended up in the 'Khartiya'. The guys respected and loved him very much, he didn't want to be transferred anywhere, he always said: 'I can't leave the guys, I'm going with them.' He saved many lives, gave his own for victory," said the warrior's wife Valeriia Bila. The hero was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery in Kryvyi Rih. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his parents, wife, grandfather and grandmother. The military man was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
