Oleksandr S. Dobrianskyi (Dobrynia)

Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Dobrianskyi (call sign Dobrynia) was killed on June 13, 2022, repelling the enemy's offensive in the area of the village of Pletenivka in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 47 years old. Oleksandr was born in the city of Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region. He received secondary education. After school, he went to work. He sought himself in various fields of activity, in particular in construction and production. Recently, he was engaged in furniture making. When the full-scale invasion began, Oleksandr immediately stood up to defend his native country from the occupiers. He served in a special unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine unit A4587. He courageously and responsibly carried out combat missions. "A good father, the best husband, a master of his craft. He never refused to help, he was a kind and honest person," said the deceased's son Yevhen. "The Ukrainian people pay a high price for Victory over Rashism. The bravest, the best, the most devoted sons and daughters lay down their lives on the altar of Freedom and Independence. Until his last breath, Oleksandr Dobrianskyi from Berdychiv defended Ukraine and fought the raving enemy. When the full-scale invasion began, he did not remain on the sidelines: he took up arms and stood up to fight the occupiers. He defended his native land selflessly and courageously, was a disciplined warrior and a reliable comrade. Eternal Memory and Honor to the Hero! Honor!" added the Berdychiv City Council. The warrior was buried in his hometown. Oleksandr left behind a wife and three sons.
