Oleksandr S. Dombrovskyi

Soldier Oleksandr Dombrovskyi was killed on March 22, 2023, in Bakhmut, Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, the warrior received shrapnel wounds. He was forever 39 years old. Oleksandr was born in Haisyn, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the local secondary school No. 4, then at the Nemyriv Vocational College, where he obtained the profession of a gas supply equipment and systems installer. In civilian life, he worked at the municipal enterprise "Vinnytsiateploenergy". He raised two sons. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman in the 120th separate brigade of the territorial defense. "A sensitive, caring, loving father and husband. Always ready to help those around him," wrote his wife Olha Dombrovska about him. The warrior was buried in his hometown. Oleksandr is survived by his wife and sons Vladyslav and Andrii. Posthumously, soldier Oleksandr Dombrovskyi was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
