- Born on August 20, 1994, in the village of Petrivka-Romenska, Hadyach district, Poltava region. Completed 5 grades of the general education school named after Hero of the Soviet Union M.Ye. Pihida in the village of Petrivka-Romenska, Hadyach district, then 9 grades of the specialized boarding school named after Y.P. Kocherhin in the city of Hadyach, Poltava region, and then graduated from the State Educational Institution "Hadyach Higher Professional Agricultural College" and obtained the profession of "Driver of motor vehicles (category 'C')." Since February 2015, he served under contract in the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1126, the urban-type settlement of Hvardiyiske, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Chornyi." On February 16, 2017, soldier Korniyko was killed during the shelling by Russian-terrorist groups of the Ukrainian military's platoon stronghold near the urban-type settlement of Zaytseve, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.
