The officer was 44 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in Kyiv. After school, he received the profession of a technician-designer at the Kyiv Optical-Mechanical Technical School. In 2002, he graduated from the Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry (now the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design). He worked as an engineer-designer of optical-fiber devices. He was interested in history. He played the guitar and saxophone. He loved the mountains. In his student years, he was engaged in historical reconstruction. Then he became interested in sports: running, ultra-trail, triathlon, swimming. In the first days of the full-scale war, Oleksandr went to the military commissariat. Due to the large number of willing people, he was put in line. The man joined the Territorial Defense Unit of Kyiv, military unit A7373. Later, Oleksandr transferred to the 241st Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of platoon commander. "Sasha knew how to listen and hear. He was always ready for trips and adventures. He loved telling various stories. For swimming classes, he calmly woke up at 5.00, which seemed to me like some kind of superpower. With his example, he always motivated me and others to be better. He often said that you need to be a better version of yourself," his wife Inna said. The hero was buried at the Lisovyi Cemetery in his native Kyiv. The defender left behind his wife Inna, father Serhiy Oleksiyovych, and sister Iryna.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
