Oleksandr S. Tsiupak

Oleksandr Serhiyovych Tsypak was born on August 28, 1982, in the town of Lukiv, Kovel district, Volyn region. In 1998, he graduated from school, and in 2001, he completed vocational technical school No. 22 in Lukiv, specializing as a "Tractor Driver-Mechanic." From 2001 to 2003, he served in the army (in the town of Desna), after which he signed a contract. A career military man and the pride of the 14th separate mechanized brigade, his tank platoon won first place several times in competitions. Since 2014, when the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine began, he has trained as many tank crews as there were waves of mobilization. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he defended the Kyiv region. On March 11, 2022, in the village of Nalyvaikivka, Bucha district, Kyiv region, the tank crew under his command destroyed several units of enemy armored vehicles, and during active offensive actions towards the settlement of Makariv, he repelled an enemy attack. Master Sergeant Oleksandr Tsypak was killed during a heavy artillery bombardment. On March 15, 2022, he was buried in the village of Zaluzhzhia, Volodymyr-Volynskyi district, Volyn region.
