    • Biography

      Born into a military family. From 2001 to 2004, he served in the military, achieving the rank of junior sergeant. In 2008, he graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in "Historian, teacher of history and law." He taught history in secondary schools. In 2010-2011, he worked as a junior research fellow at the National Military History Museum of Ukraine.

      95th separate airborne assault brigade
      Killed in action on February 14, 2015, in a battle near the city of Debaltseve in the Donetsk region. During the assault by Russian militants on Ukrainian positions, Oleksandr rushed to save an injured comrade and did not notice one of the enemy's firing points. He was wearing a bulletproof vest, but an enemy bullet hit him in the side.
