Biography
Vorobyov Oleksandr Trokhymovych was born on March 2, 1967, in the village of Novopoltavka, Bashtansky district, Mykolaiv region. In 1980, he moved with his family to the city of Komsomolsk (now Horishni Plavni) in the Poltava region. In 1984, he graduated from Komsomolsk Secondary School No. 2. During 1984-1986, he studied at the Komsomolsk Specialized Vocational and Technical School No. 15, specializing as a locomotive assistant driver. In 1986-1988, he served in the Armed Forces and participated in the war in Afghanistan. During 1989-1994, he obtained a higher education at the Cherkasy State Pedagogical Institute, specializing as a physical education teacher. Later, he lived in the town of Chornobai, Cherkasy region, where he worked as a boxing coach at the Chornobai District Center for Children and Youth Creativity. With the start of the Russian aggression in 2014, he fought in the ATO/JFO zone as part of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector". He was the founder and head of the military-patriotic club "Volya Kholodnoho Yaru". Together with like-minded people, he created a training camp for military training in Chornobai. He was a deputy of the Chornobai settlement council and a member of the European Solidarity party. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he has defended his homeland. He held the position of commander of a rifle unit. He was killed on January 29, 2023, during a mortar attack near the city of Vuhledar, Donetsk region. He was buried in the village of Salivka, Kremenchuk district, Poltava region.Burial place
