- Oleksandr Bevz (call sign Alebe), a border guard, was killed on November 1, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission at defensive positions near the settlement of Nevelske in the Donetsk region. The defender was only 25 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in Nemyriv, Vinnytsia region. He studied at the Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies. However, he did not work in his field, and before the invasion, he was working in Poland. He was passionate about music, which was his biggest hobby and the meaning of his life. He wrote his own music in the techno style and dreamed of becoming a famous DJ. However, the full-scale war changed all of the man's plans and forced him to take up arms to protect the Motherland from the Russian invaders. In May 2022, he joined the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. He served in the 24th Border Guard Unit named after Hero of Ukraine Senior Lieutenant Viacheslav Semenov, holding the position of a Category I border guard inspector and a section operator of the 2nd border outpost. "I loved and love my only son more than anything in the world. Sasha was a very cheerful guy with a sense of humor, he knew how to be a leader and gather friends around him. He was open to people, honest and straightforward with them, always telling the truth. Perhaps someone didn't like it, but his friends respected him for it. He actively implemented everything Ukrainian in his life," said the fallen warrior's mother, Larysa Zozulia. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the central cemetery in his hometown. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his mother, who, after the death of her son, realized his dream and opened the "Alebe" recording studio. Posthumously, soldier Oleksandr Bevz was awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
