Oleksandr V. Bevz (Bevz, Sania Odesa)

Sergeant Oleksandr Bevz (call sign Sanya Odesa) was killed on October 30, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. The fighter was 38 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Novopol in the Odesa region. He lived in the village of Baraboi. In 2003, he graduated from the Chornomorske Vocational School No. 22 and obtained the profession of a ship hull repairer and electric welder. He worked as an electric welder at a car service station in Ovidiopol. He was passionate about cars. He devoted his free time to his family. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend his country. Oleksandr served in the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade. "My husband was a very kind, cheerful, the best, in general, a sincere person. A good father, husband, son, brother, friend and godfather. They say about such as him: the soul of the company," Halyna Bevz said. The paratrooper was buried in Ovidiopol, Odesa region. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, brother, wife, son and daughter.
