Oleksandr V. Bezpalchuk

Soldier Oleksandr Bezpalchuk was killed on November 5, 2023, while fulfilling a combat mission in the area of the village of Serhiivka in the Luhansk region. On October 24, the defender turned 47 years old. Oleksandr was from the village of Kotyurzhyntsi, Khmilnytskyi region. He obtained the profession of a driver at the vocational school in the settlement of Chorny Ostriv. Then he served in the military. He worked as a driver in a collective farm, was a fisherman and a builder. In 2014, he volunteered to the ATO zone, and the following year he received the medal "For the Defense of the Native State". After demobilization, he returned to peaceful life. On February 25, 2022, the man went to the military enlistment office to defend the Motherland again. On March 6, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a grenade launcher in the 68th separate Yager brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the eastern direction of the front. "Dad was faithful to his comrades-in-arms and the state until his last breath. Everyone who knew him will say that he was a person of incredible kindness, never offended anyone: neither a person nor an animal, helped everyone, supported and calmed everyone down. I am proud of my father, he is a Hero! He gave the most precious thing - his life - for our peace..." - wrote the daughter of the fallen Ivanna. Oleksandr was buried in his native village. He is survived by his mother, wife and daughter.
