- Senior Lieutenant Oleksandr Buzynny was killed on May 10, 2022 near the village of Veselie in Donetsk region. While performing his duties, the officer sustained a fatal shrapnel wound to the head and an explosive injury. The following month, on June 19, the defender would have turned 35 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in Kyiv. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship at the KROK University. In peacetime, he worked as a mobile group operator at Nova Poshta LLC. In 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the man returned to the military. Oleksandr served in the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Cornet Marko Bezruchko. He was the assistant chief of intelligence of the headquarters. Colleagues said that Sasha really enjoyed what he was doing. He lived for his team, and it was the team that gave him the motivation to move forward and become a squad leader. For Oleksandr, Nova Poshta was not just a job, he was a person devoted to it with all his heart. He never refused to help anyone. Friends and acquaintances described him with such kind words that it is impossible to hold back tears: incredible, kind, courageous, very modest, sincere warrior... This is the kind of person we have all lost, added the community of the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, where the fallen lived. Oleksandr was buried at the Bortnychi cemetery in the capital. He is survived by his parents and sister. The officer was posthumously awarded the Medal "Defender of the Fatherland". On May 16, 2023, a memorial plaque in honor of the warrior was unveiled at KROK University.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
