Oleksandr V. Fedorchuk

36-year-old military man Oleksandr Fedorchuk was killed on March 19, 2023 in a battle near the village of Pavlivka in the Donetsk region. During enemy mortar shelling, he received fatal shrapnel wounds. Oleksandr was born in the village of Skrehotiвka, Volyn region. He obtained the profession of an electric gas welder at the Lutsk Vocational School No. 9. He spent most of his life working in the forestry industry. He adored the forest, nature and animals. During the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the ranks of the 68th separate Yager brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. He was an artilleryman. "My brother was always my protector, from childhood. Although he was a year older, we were like twins. He was such a hardworking rural man who was not afraid of any work, he worked hard from childhood," said the late's sister Natalia. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his parents, sister and three children.
