- Born on April 2, 1979, in the village of Pechanivka, Romanyvskyi district, Zhytomyr region. Graduated from the general education school of the village of Pechanivka. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For the last 10 years, he lived in the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. Worked as a railway track fitter for the Public Joint Stock Company "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih." On April 13, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a radio telephone operator in the anti-aircraft artillery platoon of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 93rd separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302, the urban-type settlement of Cherkaské, Novomoskovskyi district, Dnipropetrovsk region). From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 24, 2014, at a checkpoint near the village of Novoluhanske in the Artemivsk (now Bakhmutskyi) district of Donetsk region, where Senior Soldier Hryhorovych was on duty, an attack by militants occurred. A sabotage group of terrorists arrived in a car and opened machine-gun fire. During the battle to repel the attack of the militants, Senior Soldier Hryhorovych was killed. Also in this battle, Senior Soldier Ihor Berestenko and Soldier Oleksandr Karachentsev were killed alongside him. On August 1, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Pechanivka, Romanyvskyi district, Zhytomyr region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
