Oleksandr V. Lebedynets

Oleksandr Vitaliyovych Lebedynets was born on April 18, 1986, in the village of Brodetske, Katerynopil district, Cherkasy region. In his native village, he graduated from school and continued his studies at the Taliankivskyi Agrarian Technical School, where he obtained the profession of electromechanic. After completing his studies, he served his mandatory military service. Subsequently, he worked at a private enterprise, the Katerynopil elevator, and the Katerynopil forestry. In 2014, he was mobilized and took part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Eastern Ukraine. For the next four years, he continued to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contract. In 2016, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he again stood up to defend his native land. He was wounded but later returned to the front lines. He died on September 12, 2022, in the Donetsk region. He was buried with honors in the village of Brodetske, Cherkasy region.
