Oleksandr V. Lebedynskyi (Vedmid)

Soldier Oleksandr Lebedynskyi (call sign Bear) was killed on February 26, 2024 during a battle near the village of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 51 years old. Oleksandr was from the village of Dmytrivka in the Luhansk region. In 1990, he obtained a professional education at Luhansk Vocational School No. 44. In civilian life, he was engaged in farming in his native village. In September 2023, the man was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He joined the ranks of the 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade and went to defend the Mariinka direction of the Donetsk region. He held the position of a rifleman-sniper. "My beloved, loving father. How we miss you, how we want to hug and kiss you... You were and will always be our Hero. A Hero with a capital letter. You are the best. I know that you are by our side. You do not leave us with our son. You continue to protect us, and we feel it. Our guardian angel, we love you very much. You are the best husband and dad. You are in our hearts, memories, and most importantly, in my soul, which feels you even at such a great distance. I loved, love and will love you forever, we will definitely be together again, I know it for sure. Eternal memory and eternal peace. Rest in peace, you are forever in our hearts," wrote the wife of the fallen warrior. The paratrooper was buried in Dnipro. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his wife Anastasia and son Danylo.
