Oleksandr V. Linkin (Linkoln)

Alexander Linkin, a fighter of the volunteer battalion "Karpatska Sich," was killed in action on April 16, 2022, during a mortar attack in battles for the Kharkiv region. He was 37 years old. Alexander was born in the village of Pervomaiske, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Donbas National Academy of Construction and Architecture. In civilian life, he was a construction engineer, and together with his brother Dmytro, he ran a business in Kyiv. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Alexander went to defend his homeland as part of the volunteer battalion "Karpatska Sich," which joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine a month after his death. Quiet, responsible, friendly. He skillfully built trenches. And he loved animals, as he took care of abandoned dogs during the war. "Alexander always acted as his conscience dictated. He had many plans and dreams. He always took care of those around him and helped wherever he could. If you can put it that way, he was the kindest and most noble person I have ever met," said his brother Dmytro Linkin about the fallen warrior. Alexander Linkin leaves behind his mother and brother.
