Oleksandr V. Lobach (Horikh)

Soldier Oleksandr Lobach (call sign Horich) was killed on February 16, 2023 near the village of Vodiane in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he received fatal injuries. The warrior was forever 37 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in the city of Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region. He obtained the profession of an accountant at the Orikhiv Vocational School No. 33. He worked as a furniture maker. From childhood, he loved to draw and attended an art school. During the full-scale war, the man without hesitation joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as he wanted to protect his home and country. He held the position of a sapper in the engineering and sapper platoon of the infantry battalion of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. He fought in the Donbas. Oleksandr became a symbol of dignity, committed a feat, rose up against violence and injustice. He paid a high price for the new, revived Ukraine. His feat inspires hundreds of Ukrainians to fight against the military aggression of Russia. We are all eternally indebted to the warrior's family, who raised a Hero. He was very fond of life, family and friends. But the enemy cut short his bright path. We will remember Sasha with prayer and kind words. The Lord opened the gates of paradise before him, for he went to heaven undefeated. The defender was buried in his hometown, where his mother Lyubov Pavlivna, brother Serhiy, and other relatives and friends were waiting for him.
