- 34-year-old senior sergeant Oleksandr Lytvyn (call sign Cobra) was killed on February 27, 2022, in the area of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. While carrying out a reconnaissance mission with his comrades, he encountered the enemy and was killed in battle. Oleksandr Lytvyn was born and lived in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. He graduated from Kushchivska Gymnasium and the Kyiv National Academy of Internal Affairs. He served in the KORD unit of the National Police of Ukraine. He was involved in sports and was interested in military affairs. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he fought against the occupiers as part of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a machine gunner in the 3rd Special Purpose Regiment named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave. For his worthy and courageous service as a special forces soldier, he was awarded the "Golden Cross" badge and the Order of "Courage" III degree. "He was a wonderful person, a real man, brave, kind, and cheerful," said the widow of the deceased, Iryna. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Honorary Burials at the Far Eastern Cemetery in Kropyvnytskyi. Oleksandr leaves behind his parents, brother, wife, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
