Oleksandr V. Muravka

Senior Sergeant Oleksandr Muravka was killed on August 26, 2022, in a battle with Russian occupiers near the village of Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. The warrior was 44 years old. Oleksandr was born in the city of Dresden (Germany). But most of his life he spent in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. He graduated from the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after P. Vasilenko with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since 2016, he worked as a specialist in leasing transport at "Nova Poshta" in Kharkiv. He was fond of boxing. In March 2022, the man voluntarily joined the ranks of the defenders. He served in the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. He was a grenadier of the motorized infantry platoon. "Oleksandr was very open, intelligent. He always listened to people. He treated work issues as his personal ones, very thoroughly. He was a very bright, honest, direct, and conscientious person! A man of his word and deed, everyone respected him. He was a professional in his field. In general, he was a sportsman, a strong-willed person, he knew how to achieve his goals, but even more than sports, Oleksandr loved his family. Everyone tells us that he took great care of his family, especially his daughter - he lived for her," said his colleagues. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in Kharkiv. Oleksandr left behind a wife and daughter.
