- Soldier Oleksandr Muravskyi (call sign Advocate) was killed on June 22, 2023 near the village of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he received fatal injuries as a result of enemy artillery shelling. In May, the defender turned 37 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in Rivne. He graduated from the Rivne National University of Water Management and Environmental Engineering, obtaining a degree in mechanical engineering. He started his career in the State Enforcement Service and was the head of a law firm. He then worked for a long time at road enterprises. His last job was at Belavtodor Ukraine LLC, where he held the position of head of the department. He loved fishing and active recreation in the mountains. He was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity, a co-founder and ideological inspirer of the NGO "Automaidan Rivne". He was married and raised three children. He dedicated his free time to his children and their development. He was proud of their achievements in studies and dancing. With the start of the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr immediately decided to defend his homeland. He served in the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was the senior gunner of the grenade launcher platoon of the fire support company of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. "Sasha was always there, helping, guiding, being a true friend and an example for the children. A wonderful husband, friend, and advisor. From the first days at the forefront, he was wounded twice, but always returned to the ranks," his wife said. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Heroes of the "Nove" cemetery in his hometown. He is survived by his wife Oksana, son Volodymyr, and daughters Inna and Olha. Oleksandr Muravskyi was posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Rivne".Memory Platform 'Memorial'
