- 51-year-old junior sergeant Oleksandr Myrza (call sign Vusatyi) died on April 25, 2022 near the settlement of Yampil in Donetsk region. While repelling the enemy's offensive, he received a fatal wound. The body of the defender could only be found in 2023. Oleksandr was born in the village of Ignatsiy (Moldova). He lived in the village of Mayorivka in the Mykolaiv region. He had a secondary education. He worked abroad for a long time, then at the Baratsky psychoneurological boarding house. In his free time, he loved fishing and repairing cars and motorcycles. In 2015-2016, he participated in the ATO. With the start of the full-scale war, the man returned to the army and went back to the front. He fought in the ranks of the 79th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior operator of the anti-tank platoon. "My dad is an incredible person. He was very kind and sincere. He is a person who will always come to help. He never refused to help anyone. The ATO zone, the full-scale invasion - everywhere dad was a volunteer. Without him, it is too difficult in this life, and I still cannot accept his death..." - said the daughter of the fallen Oleksandr. On March 15, 2023, the hero was escorted on his last journey in the village of Mayorivka. Oleksandr left behind a wife and two daughters.
