Oleksandr V. Osnova

Born on September 1, 1983, in the village of Popelivka, Mglin District, Bryansk Oblast, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic of the USSR (now - Russian Federation). Lived in the city of Vilnyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Graduated from general education school No. 1 in the city of Vilnyansk, in 2002 - Vilnyansk Professional Lyceum with a specialty in "auto mechanic." In 2002-2003, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a signalman. On April 2, 2014, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a grenade launcher in the 3rd battalion of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302 (field post V2830), the urban-type settlement of Cherkaskoye, Novomoskovsk District, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast). From spring-summer 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 27, 2014, senior soldier Osnova was killed during shelling near the Debaltseve station in Donetsk Oblast. He is buried in the city cemetery of Vilnyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
