Oleksandr V. Osypenko

Soldier Oleksandr Osypenko died on March 3, 2022, during the defense against Russian occupants in the city of Chernihiv. The warrior was 46 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Syniavka, Chernihiv region. After school, he mastered the profession of a welder at the Shchors Higher Vocational School. He lived with his family in Chernihiv. He worked at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. He was passionate about hunting, fishing, and making various wooden products. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, the man stood up to defend his homeland and the country. He served in the 119th separate brigade of the territorial defense. He was in the mortar battery. He received the medal "For the Defense of Chernihiv". "A real man, a defender of the Motherland and his native home, who adored his sons," said the wife of the deceased. The defender was buried at the military memorial cemetery "Yalivshchyna" in Chernihiv. Oleksandr left behind his wife Oksana and two sons: Davyd and Hlib.
