- Reconnaissance soldier Oleksandr Pavlovskyi (call sign Paha) died on November 6, 2022, while saving an injured comrade near the village of Ploshchanka in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 39 years old. Oleksandr was born in the city of Kostopil in the Rivne region. He studied at a gymnasium there. He then graduated from a technological college. He completed his mandatory military service in the airborne assault troops. Later, he worked as a private entrepreneur and owned a café. He engaged in carpentry and gardening. He adored animals, especially shepherd dogs. During the full-scale war, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his home and family. He was a reconnaissance radio operator in the 4th separate tank brigade. He participated in the battles for Izium in the Kharkiv region, then went to Donetsk to liberate the city of Lyman. Later, he found himself in Luhansk. "He was an extraordinarily kind person. As his friends said, he wanted to hug the whole world," said the wife of the deceased, Lesia. "He was a talented person with golden hands. When war came to his homeland, he did not hesitate to defend his Motherland. Ukraine pays the highest price for freedom—with its people: hardworking, intelligent, determined, fearless, true Heroes. Ukrainians are a nation of the unconquered, and no matter how hard the aggressor tries to defeat this country, all efforts will be in vain. It is no wonder that Ukrainians say: 'Heroes do not die!'. Their names are written in the history of independent Ukraine! Rest in peace, Hero!" noted the Rivne Regional State Administration. The soldier was buried in his hometown. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his parents, two brothers, a wife, and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
