Oleksandr V. Porosiuk

Born on September 29, 1977, in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region. Graduated from secondary school No. 5 (now - Gymnasium No. 5 named after T.G. Shevchenko) in Kremenchuk, vocational school No. 29 in Kremenchuk (now - Kremenchuk Professional Lyceum of the Service Sector) and the Faculty of Psychology of a higher educational institution. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Worked as a psychologist at the Kremenchuk City Center for Social Services for Families, Children, and Youth, but was laid off due to downsizing. In January 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Kremenchuk Combined Military Commissariat of the Poltava region. Served in the 72nd Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167 (field post V0849), city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since March 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On April 27, 2015, Senior Soldier Porosyuk received multiple shrapnel wounds during a mortar shelling near the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region, from which he died. On April 30, 2015, he was buried in the Sector of Fallen Heroes of the Anti-Terrorist Operation at the Svyshtov Cemetery in the city of Kremenchuk.
