Oleksandr V. Rozlach

47-year-old soldier Oleksandr Rozlach was killed on October 22, 2022 near the settlement of Drobysheve in the Donetsk region. The fighter was blown up by an unknown explosive device while accompanying a vehicle with ammunition. Oleksandr was born in the city of Oster, Chernihiv region. He graduated from the Oster Construction College with a specialty in "Construction". He lived with his family in Chernihiv. He worked as a master in the manufacture of frame structures and tents. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the 26th Artillery Brigade named after Major General Roman Dashkevych. He held the position of radio operator of a self-propelled artillery platoon. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he carried out combat missions on the front line. "He had golden hands. He always got pleasure from what he was doing. Work was his big workshop. But even at home, he was always in the process of creating something. Everything at home was made by his hands. Even on duty, in the war, he repaired, crafted and did everything to improve the conditions in which he and the guys were staying," said the wife of the deceased Yulia. The defender was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Yatsevo cemetery in Chernihiv. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his wife, son and daughter.
