Oleksandr V. Sadovchuk

27-year-old paratrooper Oleksandr Sadovchuk was killed in action on July 25, 2022, during a counteroffensive in the area of the village of Bilohirka in Kherson region. The defender received fatal injuries during enemy artillery shelling. Oleksandr was born in the village of Tuchin, Rivne region. He lived in Rivne. He graduated from Lyceum No. 25. His life energy simply overflowed, so he couldn't stay in one place for a long time and connected his work with travels - he was engaged in passenger transportation. He got married, raised a daughter, whom he loved more than anything. During the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily went to the military commissariat to protect his loved ones. Later, he joined the 46th separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front line. "Cheerful, friendly, always ready to help, a hero, a volunteer who went to protect us all from the enemy. He will always be in our memory!", - noted his friend Alina Melnychuk. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the "Novoye" cemetery in Rivne. At home, Oleksandr's parents, wife, daughter, relatives, and friends were waiting for him. Posthumously, soldier Oleksandr Sadovchuk was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree. He was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Rivne".
