Sergeant Oleksandr Sokolov (call sign Sokil) was killed on September 8, 2023 near the village of Orikovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. Then he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade. Sasha was a true patriot, always the first to rush into battle. The warrior was buried in the city of Nova Odesa in the Mykolaiv region. Aleksandr is survived by his mother, brother, sister and fiancée.
