Oleksandr V. Sukhin (Odnoklasnyk)

Soldier Oleksandr Sukhin (call sign Classmate) was killed on March 18, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhia region. The fighter was 41 years old. Oleksandr was from the settlement of Oleksandrivka, Mykolaiv region. He received his education at the Oleksandrivka Secondary School. In civilian life, he worked as a driver. He spent his free time with his family. After the start of the full-scale invasion of the occupiers, the man joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine and went to the front. He served in the 4th separate battalion for the protection of especially important state facilities. He held the position of rifleman. During his service, he was awarded a commendation for the conscientious performance of his duties. "Sasha was not just a loving father, a wonderful husband and a faithful friend - he was the embodiment of justice. He was always ready to protect those in need, and he never put up with injustice," his wife Olga said. The National Guard soldier was buried in his native Oleksandrivka. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, daughter and son.
