He would have turned 32 years old on December 16. Oleksandr was born in the village of Rekshyn, Ternopil region. He graduated from school there and then moved to the Lviv region. He studied at the Lviv Professional College of Food and Processing Industry. He obtained a higher education at the National University of Food Technologies. In peacetime, he worked as the head of the semi-finished products workshop at the Khlebprom concern. He was passionate about football, playing for local rural clubs. He loved fishing and adored nature. With the start of the full-scale war, the man actively engaged in volunteer activities and joined the Territorial Defense Forces. Later, he joined the ranks of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov". He held the position of second assistant machine gunner in the special purpose unit. He took the call sign Vetam, which consists of the first letters of the names of his children: Veronika, Tadei and Mariia. "This is a person with superhuman qualities. He did not hesitate to leave his family and went to protect us. Despite the lack of military experience, he tried several times to get to the front line. Despite the pleas of his relatives, he secretly went to Kyiv and joined the Azov Brigade. He was happy that he passed the basic military training and received the long-awaited sleeve patch... He is my soul!" - said the wife of the fallen Natalia. The defender was buried in the Marsovoye Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, three children, mother, grandmother, sister and two brothers.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
