Oleksandr V. Tsaruk (Tsarok)

24-year-old senior soldier Oleksandr Tsaruk (call sign Tsaryok) was killed on June 10, 2023 near the settlement of Khromove in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, the soldier received fatal injuries as a result of enemy shelling. Oleksandr was born in the village of Dobre, Volyn region. He lived in the village of Kulykovychi. He received his education at the Lutsk Technical College. In civilian life, he worked as a sales representative. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought against the occupiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Kostya Hordiyenko. He held the position of squad commander. During his service, Oleksandr was awarded the distinctions "For Valor" and "Will and Honor". "My brother was a responsible person, always supported everyone, came to help. A courageous and fearless warrior who defended our country until his last breath," said Maria Maksymchuk. The military was buried in the village of Kulykovychi in his native Volyn. Oleksandr is survived by his parents, brother and sister.
