Oleksandr V. Zinoviev (Shkiv)

50-year-old senior lieutenant Oleksandr Zinoviev (call sign Shkiv) was killed on November 3, 2022 near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The defender suffered a fatal explosive injury during military operations. Oleksandr was born in the city of Snizhne in the Donetsk region. When he was 2 years old, he moved with his parents to Mykolaiv, where he attended kindergarten and school No. 14, which he graduated from in 1989. In 1989-1994, he studied at the Kyiv Automobile and Road Institute. He was interested in bicycles, aquaristics, rollers, cooking, scientific literature of the 1980s-1990s, and rock music. He lived with his family in Kyiv. Since 2016, he has been working at the enterprise "AUTO International" as the head of the Mazda service station. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the territorial defense, and later - the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 36th separate brigade of the marine corps. He was a company commander. "Dad was a fair and kind person, he had a great sense of humor. He had no enemies, except for the Russians, of course. A large number of his employees were at the funeral, because everyone valued him. He was also a wonderful father. He loved me, probably more than anything, and I felt it," said the deceased's daughter Daria. The officer was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in Kyiv. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, wife and daughter.
