Oleksandr Ya. Kondratenko (Radzha)

Soldier Oleksandr Kondratenko (call sign Raja) was killed on September 8, 2023 near the village of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. During the performance of a combat mission, he was wounded in the leg, but refused to leave the battlefield, and later the enemy inflicted a repeated mortar strike, as a result of which the warrior sustained fatal injuries. He was 33 years old. Oleksandr was born in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. After finishing school, he received an education at a vocational college, where he obtained the specialty of a painter-car mechanic. He was passionate about cars and motorcycles. He was a private entrepreneur. With the start of the full-scale war, he defended the Motherland as part of the 15th Operational Designation Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He held the position of a grenade launcher. "Our beloved angel is watching over us from the sky," wrote the wife of the fallen Anna. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory in his hometown. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, wife, and daughter.
