Oleksandr Ye. Tretiak

From 1997 to 2007, he studied at secondary school No. 5 in Dnipropetrovsk. He graduated from 11 classes. From 2007 to 2011, he studied at the Dnipropetrovsk Industrial College majoring in "Machine Engineering." In 2008, while studying, he worked at the company "LLC 'ARTEL'," holding the position of a concrete worker. He never stayed in one place. He traveled a lot both abroad and across his native Ukraine. Easy to get along with, Sashko visited almost every Ukrainian town. In 2008, he was drafted by the Leninsky Military Commissariat of Dnipropetrovsk into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2008 to 2009, he served in military unit 3036 as a shooter, holding the rank of senior soldier. It was then that he realized that the army was his spirit and element. In 2011, he entered the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine for part-time studies. Since March 24, 2014, he served in the 25th Separate Dnipropetrovsk Airborne Brigade under mobilization. He has been a participant in combat operations since the very beginning of the war in Donbas. At the very beginning, Sashko saw more horrors of war than others. At that time, terrorists placed a large number of firing points around Luhansk airport, and the airfield was practically surrounded when three planes were sent to the combat zone… Sashko was on the first plane that managed to land. The second, known to every Ukrainian today, was the Il-76, which was shot down by Russian mercenaries, resulting in the simultaneous death of 49 Ukrainian soldiers… Oleksandr Tretyak served with pleasure, was demobilized, but after some time returned to the airborne troops. The Airborne Forces are for life… After the first demobilization (2015-2016), he worked at LLC "VKP Promontazh Reconstruction," holding the position of a concrete worker. Also, in 2016, he continued his studies at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, where he had been studying part-time since 2011. He received a diploma in "Machine Engineering" and decided to continue his studies for another year to obtain a specialist diploma. Since 2016, he has been defending the sovereignty of Ukraine at the front for the second time. On December 24, 2016, he signed a contract and joined the ranks of the 25th Airborne Brigade.
