- Volunteer Oleksandr Alekseenko (call sign Jeb) was killed on March 31, 2022, during the defense of Kharkiv from the occupiers. The warrior was 52 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in Kharkiv city. He graduated from a local school. He worked in construction. He loved fishing very much. In his free time, he was engaged in beekeeping. Since 2014, as part of the volunteer battalion "Right Sector," he took part in the ATO. He fought on the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, had the status of a participant in hostilities. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksandr stood up to defend his native Kharkiv and region. Together with his brothers-in-arms from the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector," where he held the position of a shooter, he restrained the occupiers. "He was always a loving husband and father. He was faithful to his country," said the wife of the deceased, Yana. "During the execution of a combat mission near Kharkiv, our brothers-in-arms, fighters of the DUK "Right Sector" Oleksandr Alekseenko and Oleksandr Polonsky were killed. They were defending Kharkiv region, their native land, from the Moscow occupier. They rushed into battle and like heroes. These guys are real warriors, real nationalists who have dedicated many years to fighting against rashism and building USSD. "Right Sector" Kharkiv region expresses condolences to the families and loved ones of the fallen. We promise to avenge each of them a hundredfold! Your death is not in vain, it brings us closer to our victory and liberation of Ukraine from Moscow fascism!" wrote on the page of the 15th Reserve Sotnia DUK PS. Oleksandr was buried in Derhachi city, Kharkiv region. The defender left behind a wife and daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
