Oleksandr Yu. Busko

Busʹko Oleksandr Yuriiovych was born in 1989 in the city of Kamin-Kashyrskyi, Volyn region. In 2006, he graduated from the Volyn Military Lyceum with advanced military and physical training. In 2010, he graduated with a gold medal from the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P. Koroliov. He served in a special purpose unit in Kyiv, and was a multiple medalist in the Armed Forces of Ukraine multiathletics championship in the team event. With the start of Russia's aggression against Ukraine in 2014, he directly participated in military operations. He was killed on August 23, 2022, by a sniper's bullet in the Donetsk region. He was buried on August 27, 2022, in his hometown. He is survived by his parents, brothers, wife, and child.
