- Sergeant Oleksandr Kyrychok (call sign Dobrota) was killed on May 7, 2023, during assault operations by the occupiers in the Avdiivka area in the Donetsk region. The defender was 55 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Staryi Ostropil, Khmilnytskyi region. He lived in Poltava. He graduated from the Poltava Construction Technical School of Transport Construction, where he mastered the profession of a mechanical technician. In civilian life, he worked as a construction worker. He loved motorcycles and science fiction literature, was passionate about engineering and farming, but above all he loved his family. During the full-scale war, the man fought for his country and loved ones in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Cornet Marko Bezruchko. He was a rifleman-sniper. "My father turned my worldview around. He was a great and strong man. I am grateful to him for everything he did for me personally, for his family, and for the people of Ukraine. Remember him," said Roman Kyrychok. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Zaturynskyi Cemetery in the Poltava region. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
