Oleksii was born and lived in Kyiv. He studied at Kyiv school No. 300. In 2015, he graduated from the Kyiv Regional Vocational School of Construction, obtaining the profession of a car mechanic and a driver of motor vehicles of category C. In his free time, he was fond of fishing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksii defended Ukraine from the occupiers in the ranks of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. He was a squad commander. "Godchild, may the earth be soft for you. Glory to the heroes of Ukraine. Glory to the nation and death to the enemies. I will always remember you," wrote Svitlana Kapustina. "A person I knew for many years. The soul of our company, kind and reliable. The best and bravest of us," said the deceased's childhood friend. The paratrooper was buried at the Lisovyi cemetery in Kyiv.
