- Alexei Pavlyukovich, a machine gunner (call sign Lenya), was killed on April 1, 2023, in combat in the private sector of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. That day, the defender took part in the assault. He received a fatal wound while covering the retreat of his comrades with machine gun fire. The warrior turned 27 on March 30. Alexei was born in Dnipro. He studied at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine. He had an apiary and spent a lot of time with his dog Reid. He was involved in sports. Recently, he lived in the village of Mykhailivka, Novopokrovska territorial community. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Alexei unhesitatingly stood up to defend Ukraine from the occupiers. He joined the ranks of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he took part in the fiercest battles, was a skilled warrior, and a reliable comrade. "He was kind, strong, brave, courageous, and always came to help. He bravely defended Ukraine. He took part in the battles for Bakhmut, saved the lives of many comrades-in-arms, and pulled out many 200s and 300s," said the deceased Alexei's cousin Oleksandra. The warrior was buried in his native Dnipropetrovsk region. Alexei is survived by his parents, two sisters, relatives, and friends.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
