- Senior soldier Oleksiy Bylyk (call sign Ka2) was killed on November 8, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Kurdyumivka in Donetsk region. The warrior was 32 years old. Oleksiy was born in the village of Yosypivka in Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the local school. He served in the military on conscription. When he returned, he moved to the capital and got married. Since 2016, he served under contract in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. At the time of the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksiy was fighting against the occupiers as part of the 4th Operational Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Sergeant Serhiy Mykhalchuk. His laughter and jokes, kindness and tenderness, and indomitable sense of patriotism will long live in the hearts of his fellow countrymen.
