Oleksii M. Vizenko

Oleksiy Mykolayovych Vizenko was born on April 22, 1974, in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from the Tavriya State Agrotechnical Academy, obtaining a higher education as a mechanical engineer. During his studies at this university, Oleksiy completed a military department in the specialty "Commander of an engineering-sapper platoon of engineering-sapper troops." On January 3, 2023, in a fierce battle near the town of Soledar in the Donetsk region, the deputy head of the 1st border post from the personnel of the rapid response border commandant's office No. 1 of the 1st border squad of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Oleksiy Vizenko, was killed while defending the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine.
