Oleksii O. Andrieiev (Adiutant)

Senior Sergeant Oleksiy Andriyev (call sign Adjutant) was killed on May 23, 2022, in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Novoselivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 25 years old. Oleksiy was born in the Dnipropetrovsk region. After the 9th grade of school, he entered the Novomoskovsk vocational cooperative college of economics and law named after Serhiy Litvinenko. He received his higher education at the Kharkiv University of Law. He devoted his free time to his family and brothers, whom he loved very much. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksiy defended Ukraine as part of the 25th separate airborne Sicheslavskaya brigade. Together with his comrades, he performed combat missions on the front line. "The son stood in defense of the state for 8 years. A great patriot, the best son and brother," said the mother of the deceased, Yulia. "Oleksiy entered the college immediately after the 9th grade. He finished his studies already at the correspondence department, because he decided to go to the front. Teachers and classmates will remember Oleksiy as a polite, friendly, inquisitive and always smiling student. His sincere smile will forever remain in our memory. We share with the relatives and close ones of the deceased warrior the grief and irreparable pain. May the native Ukrainian land be a pillow for you, Oleksiy. Thank you for protecting our peace and calm, our Ukraine, along with your comrades. Now you will protect us from heaven. Our victory will surely come, because Ukrainians are an unbreakable nation! Heroes do not die," the Novomoskovsk college said. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Khachove, Dnipropetrovsk region. At home, Oleksiy's mother and three brothers were waiting for him.
